This one of a kind cushion cover has been made from an African fabric which is fair trade and produce by a small artisan collective. Narrow strips of handwoven cotton approximately 5 inch's wide are stitched together to make a whole cloth. The cloth is then dip-dyed in indigo after using a hand-stitched resist method creating the shibori tie-dyed pattern. The backing is a plain cream 55% linen and 45% cotton and the cushion closes with a zip at the bottom. Between the panels on the front there is a subtle top stitch detail.
PLEASE NOTE: Each piece is unique and will contain subtle variations due to the nature of hand dyed textiles. There may also be some slight wear from where the fabric has been tied tightly before the dyeing process.
*This listing is for the cushion cover ONLY.
